Akashia - Bodyguard

Physical Profile:
Akashia is quite tall with a height of 5'9". She has long, slightly curly dark brown hair and dark blue eyes. Being born in Brinnyn she has a normal skin color but always with a tan due to being outside most of the time.

Background:
Akashia was found as an infant laying in the forest in a cradle wearing an golden amulet with a sapphire in the middle. She was found by a young Baron's wife who had just lost her first child. She took Akashia in to raised her as her own child. When the baron came back from his training with the knight's order he was not very pleased with his wife's decision to raise an bastard child, but excepted her wish anyway

In the following years the baron and his wife got three more children (2 sons and 1 daughter). Neither the baron nor his children liked Akashia and she would have had a bad time if not for the baroness who cares for her a lot.

At age 12 Akashias powers manifested for the first time when she broke her brothers nose during a fight without touching him. Over the next two years the fights between her and the other children got worse and finally the baron send her away to a military school to get some sense into her.

Life was easy for Akashia at the military school. Obviously a bastard she was disliked by most of the fellow students as well as her teachers. Akashia rebelled against the strict rules and drills and got punish over and over again. Especially one teacher Djanara Thaer took it hard on her and found reasons to punish her cruelly even when she had done nothing wrong.

With 17 Akashia managed to escape from the school, after her powers had manifested again, by stealing the 'Holy Sword' since all other weapons were locked away at night. She stopped at the barons place to say good bye to her 'mother,' who gave her the amulet to guide her way. Akashia then traveled north well aware of the fact that the school would send somebody after her to retrieve the sword but unable to let go of it.

She has been traveling around since then trying to find out more about these strange powers that are so similar and so different at the same time from elemental magic. By now she is able to use them at command. Akashia works as a bodyguard and mercenary but takes great care when deciding for whom she works.

Personality Profile: 
Akashia is very arrogant and sarcastic young woman, not willing to allow anybody to push her around. She used to be alone a lot and lacks the necessary skills for a polite, social conversation. Knowing that, she doesn't even try but comes straight to the point when saying something. 

Akashia is not very patient and in earlier times lost her temper rather often but has over the last years learned to control it better. When it comes to her personal matters she never reveals anything from her past or where she comes from. She doesn't make friends easily but values true friendship a lot knowing that it is not very common in her business. 

Skills & Abilities:
Akashia is a warrior, trained in the art of war. Not only does she know how to handle the various kinds of weapons, armors and shields but she also has a broad understanding of war history, warfare, tactics and commanding. Her time in the streets and in the woods has taught her many things on how to survive and by now she even performs little thefts if she runs out of money.

Akashia has strange power and is not sure where they come from. She has been traveling around trying to find out more about these strange powers that are so similar and so different at the same time from magic. By now she is able to use them at command. Her best skills of a wide range of things are moving objects by sheer will, and reading peoples thoughts. 

Special Notes:
Akashia is proud and will not bow just to please somebody, but she is never too proud to run in order to save her life. Courage is not everything to her even though she doesn't fear much. Her only true fear is that Djanara Thaer might be the one who is hunting her for the theft of the 'Holy Sword'
